It is the duty of the teacher to train the students to manage their emotions and prepare them to courageously face the challenges of life. He recalled the famous quote “The destiny of India is shaped in the classrooms”.

He said that the purpose of teaching should be life oriented and teacher must involve the students in active learning. He expressed his views on becoming an inspirational teacher and said  that the teachers must create engineers not engineering graduates.
